Over 250 volunteers make the festival run each year — we couldn’t do it without them. The majority of the volunteers work the festival, escorting authors, answering questions and running the show, really. There are also a few opportunities throughout the year where volunteers can help get the word out. For a more thorough description of how you might be able to help, check out the festival volunteer team descriptions, here.
A core group of about 25 volunteers, listed on the board and staff page, is responsible for booking authors, coordinating volunteers, designing promotional materials, announcing the festival to the community, scheduling workshops and much more. If you have the time and the desire to be part of this team, let us know.
