Wendy Call (www.wendycall.com) is writer in residence at Richard Hugo House, Seattle’s literary center, and co-editor of Telling True Stories: A Nonfiction Writers’ Guide (Plume/Penguin, 2007). Wendy became a freelance writer, editor, and writing coach in 2000, after devoting a decade to work for social change organizations in Boston and Seattle.
