Portland for fifteen years where he teaches Dangerous Writing. His novels
include Faraway Places , The Man Who Fell In Love With The Moon, In The
City of Shy Hunters, and Now Is The Hour. Now Is The Hour
was chosen one of the best one hundred books of 2006 by Publisher's Weekly
and was nominated for the Lambda Award and the Oregon Book Award. A new
edition of Tom's first novel, Faraway Places, will be released by
Hawthorne Books in February, 2008.
