Professor Robert J. Miller, Lewis & Clark Law School,
has taught Indian law since 1993 and is the Chief Justice of the Grand
Ronde Tribe. Bob has published numerous items on Indian issues and has
spoken at dozens of conferences in more than twenty-six states. In
2003-06, he was appointed by his tribe to an advisory position with the
National Council of the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial. His first book,
Native America, Discovered and Conquered: Thomas Jefferson,
Lewis & Clark, and Manifest Destiny, was published in September
2006. Bob is a citizen of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.
