Kathryn Trueblood is preoccupied by the issues facing women in
contemporary life. Her novel, The Baby
Lottery, was a Book Sense Picks List 2007 selection from the
American Booksellers Association. Her first book, The Sperm Donor's Daughter & Other Tales of Modern
Family, received a special mention for the 2000 Pushcart Prize. An
Associate Professor of English at Western Washington University, Trueblood
has co-edited two anthologies of American multicultural literature. Her
stories and articles have been published in Poets & Writers Magazine, Pubishers Weekly, Ran
Taxi Review, Glimmer Train, ZYZZYVA, and the Seattle Review, among others.
