M. Allen Cunningham’s new novel Lost Son is based on
the life of the European poet Rilke, author of "Letters to a Young
Poet." Cunningham's The Green Age of Asher Witherow was
shortlisted for the 2005 Booksense Book of the Year Award. The Salt
Lake Tribune named it one of six “Best Books of the
West.” Cunningham’s fiction has appeared in The Kenyon
Review, Glimmer Train, and on stage in the New Short Fiction Series of
