Anita Helle

Anita Helle is the editor of The Unraveling Archive: Essays on Sylvia Plath and of "American Poetry 1940s the Present" for American Literary Scholarship (Duke University). Her recent writing on Plath and twentieth century poetry appears in the Norton Theory and Criticism Reader (ed. Gubar and Gilber 2007) and is forthcoming in the Oxford Book of the Elegy (2008). She has published articles, reviews, and critical essays on a range of modern adn contemporary writers, including Mina Loy, Kay Boyle, Louise Gluck William Stafford, and Audre Lorde. Anita Helle is associate professor of English at Oregon State University where she teaches 20th century literature and advanced writing in the graduate and undergraduate English programs. She lives in Corvallis, Oregon.
